By veterinarians for veterinarians
We know your pathWe are not an anonymous agency, but come directly from the field: as operators of six veterinary practices and small animal centers of our own, we have already successfully integrated dozens of veterinarians from abroad into our teams. Because we find this collaboration to be enormously enriching, we have founded this platform. We are now using our experience not only to strengthen our own teams, but also to connect you with our valued colleagues throughout Germany – so that they too can benefit from this positive experience and you can get the best possible start.
Your schedule
This is how we place you in GermanyBefore we can place you, you need to make yourself visible. German employers receive many resumes – but they hire personalities. We help you stand out from the crowd.
What we need from you:
- Your resume (CV): Complete and clear. Show your education and previous positions.
- Professional action photos: Show yourself at work!
Please no vacation photos.
Put on your scrub/doctors coat.
Photos at the treatment table or with animals look professional and show that you are ready. - Your introductory video (the “game changer”):
A 1–2 minute video is your ticket in.
Speak German (as well as you can) – this shows courage and a willingness to learn.
Briefly describe: Who are you? What can you do? Why do you want to come to Germany?
Why? A friendly smile is often more convincing than just grades on paper. If the chemistry is right, the employer will be willing to go through the bureaucratic process with you.
We have put together a short guide for your application:
Once your profile is ready, we will introduce you to our network of veterinary clinics.
- Introduction: We will present your profile to suitable employers.
- Getting to know each other: If there is interest, we will organize an initial video interview between you and the clinic.
- The offer: If there is a good fit, you will receive a concrete employment contract.
Important: You will need this contract for your visa!
Now it's time to get formal. With the employment contract in hand, we (or your new employer) will often start the “Accelerated Skilled Worker Procedure.”
Your checklist for the authorities: Prepare these documents digitally and in original form:
✔ Passport (valid & color copy).
✔ University degree (veterinary medicine diploma, translated & certified).
✔ Language certificate B2: Without this certificate, you will not receive a work permit.
✔ Certificate of good conduct or “Certificate of Good Standing” from your home country.
✔ Health certificate: Proof that you are in good health.
✔ Mandate: So that we/your employer can submit applications on your behalf.
Good to know: This process incurs fees (e.g., €411 for the accelerated procedure), which are often pre-financed by the employer upon agreement.
Welcome! But the journey doesn't end here. We support you in achieving long-term success.
- Work permit: You will initially work with a temporary permit under the supervision of an experienced veterinarian.
- License to practice (your big goal):
EU applicants: Your degree is usually recognized immediately.
Third countries (non-EU): You will usually have to undergo an equivalence assessment. Knowledge tests are often required (approx. 8–12 tests), which you will take within the first few years. - Practical training: Your employer will help you to catch up on any knowledge you may be lacking (e.g., swine medicine, German animal welfare laws) in practice.
What does "being part of the applicant pool" mean?
