Terms of use for professionals

§ 1 Scope and relationship to the platform's terms and conditions

  1. These terms of use apply in addition to the General Terms and Conditions of VetUno for all natural persons who register as veterinarians, veterinary assistants or practice management staff (hereinafter referred to as "professionals").
  2. In case of discrepancies, these terms of use take precedence over the general platform terms and conditions.

§ 2 Free use and no brokerage promise

  1. The use of the VetUno platform is completely free for professionals.
  2. The provider is not obligated to secure employment or to guarantee a specific professional outcome.
  3. There is no entitlement to be contacted by an employer or to the conclusion of an employment or service contract.

§ 3 Registration and User Account

  1. Use requires personal registration.
  2. Professionals are required to provide complete, up-to-date, and truthful information during registration and profile maintenance.
  3. Multiple registrations are not permitted.
  4. The provider is entitled to block or delete user accounts at any time if there is a violation of these terms of use or applicable law.

§ 4 Profiles, content and personal responsibility

  1. Professionals can create profiles on the platform and upload personal, professional, and qualification-related content.
  2. The specialist is solely responsible for:
  • the accuracy and timeliness of their information,
  • the legal admissibility of the content,
  • the possession of required professional qualifications, recognitions or approvals.
  1. The provider does not check content and qualifications and assumes no responsibility for them.

§ 5 Visibility and Contact

  1. Employers can view the profiles of skilled workers according to the respective platform functions.
  2. Contact is made via the platform or via contact details voluntarily released by the professional.
  3. The provider has no influence on the content, process, or outcome of communication between users.

§ 6 International Professionals

  1. Professionals who have obtained their professional qualification abroad are themselves responsible for checking and fulfilling all legal requirements for practicing their profession in Germany or other countries.
  2. The provider assumes no responsibility for:
  • the recognition of foreign degrees,
  • Visa, residence or work permits,
  • Professional licenses.

§ 7 Rights of Use

  1. The professional grants the provider a simple, revocable right to use the uploaded content, insofar as this is necessary for the operation of the platform.
  2. The right to use the service expires upon deletion of the user account, unless there are legal retention obligations.

§ 8 Liability

  1. The provider is liable exclusively in accordance with Section 7 of the General Platform Terms and Conditions.
  2. In particular, the provider is not liable for:
  • Content or information provided by employers,
  • the establishment or non-establishment of employment relationships,
  • economic or professional decisions of skilled workers.

§ 9 Exemption

The specialist shall indemnify the provider against all third-party claims resulting from unlawful or inaccurate information provided by the specialist.

§ 10 Termination of Use

  1. The professional can delete their user account at any time.
  2. The provider is entitled to suspend or delete user accounts without notice in the event of violations of these terms of use.

Section 11 Data Protection

  1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the platform's privacy policy.
  2. The expert acknowledges that employers are independently responsible under data protection law.

§ 12 Final Provisions

  1. German law applies.
  2. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
